This is a spring/summer collection for women named Vivian. Vivian in French means life and alive, and the theme of this collection is related to fertility and life. My inspiration is the process of pregnancy and embryonic development, which is meant to reflect the life conception. Life comes from nature and it is a topic for all of humanity. So the fabric choice for the collection was monotonous and I chose a breathable and skin-friendly stretch power mesh for the collection. The colors of the fabrics were chosen from the skin tones of different races. Each outfit is paired with an inflatable device made of latex. The device is simulating the intimate relationship between mother and baby. Each device is a separate body, but the details of the parts inside are squeezing and twisting together. Representing the baby and the mother has an inseparable link.
