My name is Xiaomin Dai, I graduated with a major in fashion design from the Academy of Art University in May 2022, my degree is a bachelor of fine arts. I stepped into fashion design in 2015 and I have completed many individual and team projects in these 7 years. During my four years of study at the Academy of Art University, I have taken many fashion courses such as textile design, knitwear design, visual merchandising, fashion marketing, and more. Learning different fashion skills helps me to further acquire important knowledge in fashion, such as draping, sewing, knitting, and styling. Digital painting and draping are more design skills to help me turn inspiration into sketches and into a final ready-made garment. I enjoy this process as it makes me find my true happiness. l hope I can use my skill to bring some high-quality and creative design to the fashion market.
